Ed Dermody is the Vice President and Branch Manager of the Houston Texas Branch of Fairway Mortgage.  Houston was the second branch of the Fairway network.  To date Fairway has 59 branches and is licensed in 19 states. 

Ed brings over 17 years experience in the mortgage industry. Starting with a local full service mortgage banker heading up the Quality Control Department then moving into production. After 5 years with the local company he moved to a large nationwide mortgage banker.  During the 5 year with this company Ed helped produce over 100 million in production a year.  After 10 years in the mortgage industry Ed decided it was time to make a change and open up more opportunities.  In January of 1997 he decided to join the Fairway team as the 2nd branch to open.  Since then he successfully opened and manages 3 joint ventures with builder and realtor offices in the Houston area.

Ed has lived in the northwest part of Harris County for over 15 years.  Ed and his wife Tami have 3 beautiful girls.  When Ed is not spending time with his family or the mortgage business he finds time for hunting, fishing and golf. 

I know Ed's goal at Fairway is to give you great service, competitive rates and a very informative experience when buying a home and obtaining a mortgage.  Ed always tells his employees "remember we are only as good as our last loan."
